HI. I'm back. Right now the suitcases are unpacked but the vaccuum claener is strung across the upstairs hallway floor and the duster is on the banister. I should be organizing my cabinets and pantry or doing laundry. I obviously will not be doing that now. I'd rather write.
Going home was so fun. For once I wasn't stressed or upset or running away from something (yes I know, very mature of me). I just hung out on the porch swing while my children returned to the savage wild west and ran barefoot naked and grubby in the back yard, the way all children were meant to grow up. The kids loved seeing Mimi and Papa, wish they saw more of Grammy and Papa, and had so much fun with the cousins. Saidi was spoilt and Donovan was also.
Mimi gave into him and he rolled out of the ABQ Disney store in his stroller chariot with two of the exact same dalmation stuffed animal clutched in a death grip, smiling like theres no tomorrow. NO Mom he was not cute but I know you are a sucker for grandkids so it's ok.
I don't care what you say but I had so much fun on our girls over nighter. I enjoyed talking and laughing and making fun of life. Kassi's babyshower was so much fun. Cody takes such good care of her.
Now here's the catch. Perfect trip, I loved it and it was stress free. Dun Dun Dun. I lost my phone on the plane and it is being mailed to me from Houston. (How fitting.) When we get home that night the dog we are sitting for some friends jumps the baby gate and rip's his toenail off. I feel so bad for him and he bled everywhere. So we get him all wrapped up and sit with him on the couch for a while to sooth him. When we put Saidi to bed her room is freezing. The Craptastic house we live in has settled so much that the floor has dropped 2 inches from the baseboard and the 11 degree wind is blowing through her room.
I knew I should have knocked on wood.

The Joys of Parenting!
Tonight after the kids had gone to bed me and City Boy were enjoying the latest installment of the Simpsons when we hear Loo start crying. She doesn't like to go to bed so I tell City Boy to ignore her and we do. Soon we hear the pitter patter of anxious feet going back and forth and some serious crying going on. We both go up to check and Loo is standing at the door with blood running down her face. She say that the paper towel won't come out of her nose. She had shoved some pieces of tissue up her nose and tore up her little nasal passages trying to get it out.
We took her into the bathroom and performed "Surgeries". My family will know the meaning of the word. Oh the days of performing medicine on each other on the dining room table. Well we have done it now in my home. I see a piece that I can get no problem with some tweezers. I get that piece out and have City Boy get a flashlight to make sure there is no more. I look and I see another piece. Well City Boy decides to take a look and ends up gagging. (I fear for my life if I'm ever bleeding, this is the second time City Boy has wigged out on me with blood. The first was me getting my blood drawn. Oh yeah he's not that partial to childbirth either but who can blame him.)Any who, I get the other piece out with the help of some saline.
Poor little Loo was very upset about the blood on her ballerina jammas. But she did get to watch the Simpsons with us!!

Our house, in the middle of our street.
So I know it's been a long time coming and you will have to wait even longer till I get a decent camera to take interior pictures with. I have been lusting after a Nikon d40 camera that I'm saving up for and when Niky my store ordered boyfriend gets here I will take amazing pictures. They will be so great that the heavens will open and angels will sing. Ok so I'm egzagerating. (that missspelling was for you Daddy. Mom told me you were commenting on it)
Anyways, Do you have any idea what it is like trying to take a quality picture with the camera option on a camcorder??? It is nigh unto impossible.
Well here is our house. I must say garages are a new thing for me. I cannot park straight to save my life. Oh I can get both cars in but there is always a subtle tilt to the left with each car. City Boy is great about matching the tilt. I'm sure it drives him nuts but thats what happens when you mix a straight arrow with someone who always wanted to be Gidget. Ok since I'm new at this can someone please explain to me windows in the garage. It's great to have the light......oh. Nevermind. I get it now.
.....Ignoring awkward moment........
So look at the front of the house. See those two tiny windows. The square ones right next to each other. It's ok go look I'll wait.
-
See it now. Those are Loo and Mansers rooms. They are 4'x5' unventilated rooms right next to each other. Just Kidding. One of those is a 4'x 8' closet that is now know as the Cloffice. City Boy came up with that one. It's really a train room. For the train modeling he does. HAHA funny side story. Caution slightly adult wording used.
City Boy is constantly looking at pictures and reading train magazines to get ideas. Well the guys in the old shop City Boy worked at call it train porn. Hey most girls have to worry about the real thing. I'm lucky.
So the room above the garage is the guest room. It's so lonely and sad being empty. Oh wait I hear it saying something. It says "Please come visit me." Poor Steve he's sad. The rooms name is now Steve. See what happens when your husband goes to Alabama and leaves you alone with two kids. You got to do something to keep you busy.
Here is our tiny but cute backyard!!
Here is the view of what's behind our house. The highway is right behind but after that it's counrty clean and pure. Yeay New house!!!!

Stunning
Good pete's sake. Will my children make t to their 5th birthdays?? Last year while we were at the hospital for a check up, Saidi fell off the curb, hit her head and got knocked out. Silly little me didn't have newborn Donovan in his carseat so I ended up giving him to a stranger to hold so that I could take Saidi back inside to the doctor to look at. She was fine and it only stunned her a little bit. Needless to say it scared the tinkle out of me(he he I can't say peewaden, I'm bein civilized). Any ways last night I'm sitting on the couch and right behind me I hear a huge thud on the wall. I turn around and Donovan is behind the couch doing that scary "I'm not breathing" scream thing that kids do. Than he slumps over and goes still. His eyes are rolled back in his head and his body in totally limp. I flip out and see a red mark on his head. I'm talking to him and trying to get him to wake up and after a minute he does but now his eyes are rolling around in differant directions and not focusing. All this while I'm screaming my head off for Chris to come downstairs. Donovan still won't pick up his head and he's still cross eyed and silent and it's been like two minutes. I'm still screaming and Chris hasn't come down stairs. Finally Donovan starts to cry and Chris gets out of the shower and hears me scream. Chris comes down and takes him and looks him over for a while. Donovan wants down and starts walking around and playing with toys. He is ok but I was so stinking scared. I'm watching him closely. I think he tripped and just faceplanted into the wall.
Later last night we went to Walmart and Saidi decided to stand up in the cart and when Chris went to move it she toppled out head first. She was fine and started laughing. Chris' response to this was "I guess it's just you and me." When I asked what he meant he just replied "Head Trauma."
Why couldn't I have fat cranky babys who never want to move and do things for themselves, and does it mean that I'm a bad parent because I know what to look for in a concussion???
I'm not joking about the passel of flying monkeys.

Squezzy Our Mascot
Meet Squezzy. She is not a cool person. When we lived to the other house she terrorized me constantly. Here we see Squezzy eating Saidi's hamburger. Gosh I know she takes food out of the mouth of children. She was able to chew a hole through the trash bin so she could acess all the scraps from the trash and while she was in there just chillin poor unsuspecting me would go out there innocently trying to keep my house clean. This is when our conniving Squezzy would attack. Several times I would open the lid only to have her spring forth in a streak of fur, claws with blood dripping from her teeth attach herself to my face as I ran screaming around the yard. At this point Squezzy would yell, "who's house is this?? Huh woman?? Mine That's right and there better be some good stuff in the bag this time." What could I do but give her only the best pieces from the dinner table.
Not really on the whole attaching to my face thing but her eyes were very intimidating. She did jump out at me a few time and I dropped my cell phone. What I can clean and talk. I'm special.
Well that is all I can say about Squezzy. She will be missed.

Into the great unknown!!
Star date 2100
Captains log
The natives are restless and I'm afraid I have lost all control of the situation. The time is going by so slowly. The past two minutes since City Boy left have been unbearable. Must Get Help No man should face thisalone.
HAHA just kidding. City Boy left yesterday afternoon and things are going great. I am finding myself super patient and I daresay enjoying my children. A positive attitude works wonders with me. I heard that if you can name 3 good things in the first hour after you wake up, your day will be a million times better. So I'll try it tomorrow.
I love me some Wii but I make sure to only play it when the kids are in bed. Daylight is for playing. Saidi got a new bathing suit and Hula skirt from Aunt Linda and hasb't taken it off for two days. It's funny that she walks around than stops dead in her tracks and says HOWA HOWA and wiggles her hips!!
Mansers is doing good besides teething and shots. Poor kid, he still plays and smiles. I have such great kids!!
Mya the dog is a sweetie but more on her later. I'm tired!!!

I think time flies just because it can.
I swear there is a big clock out there that is a masochist. He will speed up when you want something to last forever and will crawl when you are bored out of your mind, all the while thumbing his nose in our general direction.
We have been busy this past stretch. We found out that we will not be PCSing until Fall '09. Bummer but that means we get to spend time with out friends who WILL be staying here. Yes Abby and Sara that will not be you. I'll miss you guys so much!!!
CB's brother Cuddly Craig has finally graduated. We're super proud of him and the graduation in Houston was great. We got to hang out with the family but I missed seeing Grandma. Donovan was finally introduced to the Quinlan side which has been a long time coming.
I was a horrible bad mother and left my poor babies and even poorer husband to find their way back to Scott without me. Bev generously devoted some of her time and offered to drive back with them. She didn't know what she was getting into. Bwaaa haaaa haaa.
So as City boy, Bev, and the mini's suffered a 15 hour car ride from heck, I was whisked away on a plane to a girls weekend in Chicago. I just want to say that if your sanity is in danger, a weekend away is just what the phsyc ward ordered. I have never been so relaxed and comfortable in my life. Three days of shopping (including my shopping Mecca of Filene's Basement) dining (sigh) and the otherwise wasting of absolutely obscene amounts of time. I have never had so much fun by myself in my life.
So what adventures can we look forward to?? A new dog and 2 weeks without my husband.
Oh what is that I hear?
I have to go back to Chicago and live free of charge with all the shopping and spa money I can use??
Oh dear never mind that was just my imagination.

Short Like Me!!
I got the same bug the kids have but I'm a big wuss. They got better a lot quicker than I did.
Here are some bullet points to get you up to date!
*City Boy just won the Company Grade Officer of the Quarter Award on the Squadron and Group. He was up for it on the Wing level but didn't get it. We're still proud.
*We will find out by Friday if we will be PCSing in September. (PCS means moving to a new base)
*We will find out where we will be going next week if we are going to PCS.
*City Boy just got called to be ward financial clerk.
*We will be going to Creature Cuddlers vet school Graduation in a few weeks and I will fly to Chicago from there.
My throat hurts.

Never Use Your Hand to Put Your Foot In Your Mouth
Yes that's right we have the dreaded Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. Basically it's just a fever, super crankyness and sores on the........you guessed it, hands feet and mouth. Dang, we missed getting the Montezumas revenge that we usually get when we go home only to get a nasty midwest virus. Stinkin Midwest. I wash my hands of you. Which is about the ony thing you can do with HFM. Wash your hands and pass out the Motrin. Dorothy made a grave mistake. If I had some red slippers I'd be clickin them to get the heck out of The Midwest. Oz is lookin pretty good right now!! I could be the Wicked Witch. I've already got the passel of flying monkeys.

2 Days on the Road and We Made It Home Alive!
"Big wheels keep on turnin'"
If I never hear that song again I will die a happy woman!!! We are back Right and settling into a routine.
Just for the record.
Going to New Mexico with City Boy, Country Mouse, La Rue and Manish: 20 hours.
Going to New Mexico with Country Mouse, La Rue and Manish: 15 Hours.
Why does it take 5 hours longer with City Boy in the car you ask??
Well it may be the 18 million pee breaks but I'm pretty sure that it is an extremly short attention span.
Anyone traveling on 44 into Missouri there is a great rest stop that has a playground outside of Joplin. It will work to entertain the monkeys and the City Boys too!!

I love me some Bordertown!!
Ok so I made an executive decision and got the heck out of Dodge. Call it an extended mental health day if you'd like but City Boy had a TDY in Shreveport LA so nothing was holding me back from going Left. As you all can see from ROOTS I needed a break. St. Louis is beautiful but it's not friendly. That became clear after it snowed for 3 weeks, followed by 2 days of sunshine, followed up by 3 days of downpouring rain that rivaled the days of Noah. I'd had it and the kids had had it!! SO we're in Mexico, the newer one that is. The land of the Dry and the home of the Sane. It's so nice to be back. It's spring break so the siblings are home. I miss everyone one back home but I do not miss the cold wetness that I call Right!!

City Boy Sold His Soul!
Earlier I made a reference to City boys contract with Satan. This is what I refer to as the military. Well maybe not Satan himself. Only the Marines, Navy and Army work directly with Satan, we work more with a Jr. Satan. Like his understudy or something.
City Boy can't tell me what he does at work. I do know that his job doesn't end when he leaves the office. I should apologize to the crew when they call at 2 a.m. I don't think I sound very nice.
He comes home so sweet but rode hard and put away wet.
We have it easier than the other branches of the military, Chris is always able to watch the kids when I have an appointment and hasn't deployed yet. So we're lucky.

Roots
My roots have been showing lately. NO, not my haircolor. I notice the "ya'lls" and the "give me a hollar" are coming back in force. I even wave at every car that passes me on the road. (You know the index finger wave. P.s. that will get you a dirty look here in Il.) Listening to the radio I had a realization, every where my parents have lived has been quite litterally "where the blacktop ends." They lived in Salem about a quarter mile from the dirt roads and now actually live on a dirt road. Not litterally "on the road." You know what I mean.
I miss going outside and being creeped out by how quiet is is. Sitting in the dark almost watching the stars move across the sky. Most of all I miss the desert. Running bare hotfooted to the next spot of shade at 5pm and by 7pm your feet are freezing walking across the same path. The smell mesquite gives off during a rain storm, the whole world holding it breath for a split second as the sliver of sun comes over the horizon, the sun reflecting off the land when it clears.
Once on the phone with Daddy we talked about the mountains. I miss them. That's Heaven. Standing so high the air stings as you breathe, knowing your the only person for miles. Just to sit long enough that you can feel the forest move around you just like the stars. This country mouse loves her city house but she can sure use a slice of Heaven.

Happy Birthday City Boy
City Boy is another year older and he just gets sweeter ands sweeter. He works so hard for us but always has time when he gets home. No matter how tired he is, he will always smile and pay attention to us. He's even patient when he asks what I did all day and I say nothing. I ask if we can go out to eat and his response is always "What baby wants, Baby gets!' I love it.
I hope you enjoyed your special day. We love you!!!

Right now Donovan is trying to put his fingers in the paper shredder, Saidi is eating and watching Clifford, City Boy is off making good on his contract with Satan, and I avoiding the post week-end laundry, dishes and my unmade bed.

It's been a while.
I keep thinking of things I need to put on here, but I never do.
***Disclaimer: anything about the military that is wrong in here is my fault. I don't always under stand what City Boy is trying to explain to me so there it is.
So far we've found out that pilot training is 99.9% out of the question. City Boy is super bummed but he seems to be taking it well. He's maybe a little more ornery than usual. Those of you who know him know what that means. He is a bug. Well anyways we have been just taking it easy. A few options have come up for what he will do after this job. The job he is in usually only lasts a year. He's been in just over that. I'm proud of what he's accomplished while he been at it. He went from being a normal crew member to crew commander. He works really hard at what he does and takes care of business and never brags about it. (Unless in jest)
The kiddos are doing well. Saidi is starting potty training and loves tortureing her brother. I think it's so funny. She is talking up a storm and definatly is a smartie. A phrase often heard around here is "Member Momma??" This usually means I promised her something a week ago and she is holding me to it. She is growning like a weed and is eating to prove it. Every five minutes is heard as she rubs her belly, "So humry Momma, I so humry." She definatly knows how to play her Daddy. Either she asks him for something I said no to or acts like she can't talk right so he won't know what she's done to make her brother cry.
Donovan is the happiest little man. All smiles but he definately has a LOT of irish in him. Thanks to both sides of the family. Will give you the biggest grin but don't cross him. He hollers when he's hungry and eats like a starving man. The Doc told us not to give him solids yet but when the kids is eating 6 jars of baby food and 5 bottles you know he needs something more. Now he'll eat a whole waffle for breakfast and more pasta than I do at dinner. He's crawling, pulling up, and crusing on the furniture. He said Mama today for the first time and says dada a lot. I'm not quite sure if he know what he's saying when he says Dada but he know Mama.
I'm doing great and trying to get rid of "baby weight" ( More like doughnut and fast food weight)
I have decided that Tv is of the devil because if the camera add ten pounds everyone on Tv need to have a feeding tube placed. (I still watch though).
I have been feeling alot happier and hope the PPD hormones have gone. I recently got called to work with the young women at church. I'm so excited. I loved Primary and am so grateful to have had the chance to learn so much from the kids but it will be nice to be out of there.
I hope to be coming back to New Mexico soon. I told City Boy I plan on it. We decided to use our leave on a family vacation this year. We always go home and it's nice but we will go somewhere else this year. Me and the kids will home later this summer. I have trip planned in May for me and some friends to go to Chicago. I can't wait.
City Boy is up for deployment in September and we're almost positive he will go. That means he will miss Halloween(his favorite holiday) Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. I bummed but it will be ok. We just hope he goes to Qatar or Africa but we won't know till this fall. SO cross your fingers everyone. We have decided to stay in the Air Force for 2 more years and have City Boy get his Masters degree and we'll rethink than. So who knows.
We are going to be moving to a new house on base this summer. They are either renovating or rebuliding houses on base and we'll be moving to a renovated one. I can't complain. The houseing here is great!
Well Elmo is calling so see you next time!!!

We are going to be moving to a new house on base this summer. They are either renovating or rebuliding houses on base and we'll be moving to a renovated one. I can't complain. The houseing here is great!
Well Elmo is calling so see you next time!!!

I'm allergic to romance!
Anyone who has known us since we got married knows about the honeymoon fiasco. (If you don't know just ask and I'll tell.) So it's no big surprise that we don't really do the big romantic stuff. Our idea of US time is watching Futurama every night before bed. It works for us.
This valentines day City Boy pulled out all the stops!!! He got a barbershop quartet to serenade me on Valentines day and got me the diamond earings I have been mooning over. That in it's self is anything more than I could ever want!! Well he got some really good friends of ours to babysit the kids overnight and took me to a really nice hotel in downtown and made reservations at Landry's for dinner.
We checked into the hotel and it was amazing!! I've never been in one so nice. We than went to dinner. The food was great and it was so nice just to be alone with him. We did a little after shopping at union station.
On the way back to the hotel I started feeling a little sick to my stomache. By the time we got to the hotel I felt so sick. I spend the rest of the night in bed drinking sprite trying not to throw up.
(We ended up watching a few episodes of Futurama)
When we woke up in the morning (not to the sound of Saidi knocking on her door to get out) I felt a little shaky but otherwise fine. But City Boy felt sick and by that evening we were back at home with the kids and City Boy had the flu.
We were not meant to have alone time and romance in our lives. Maybe when we're 40 yr old empty nesters we can be a couple. I think I'll take the hint.
(P.S. It was so nice that he did all that for me. I just feel bad I couldn't enjoy it as much as possible. Thank goodness he's so patient and sweet with me!!!)

What's in a name?
Call me granola or a hippy but I believe that your name is a piece of you. Alot of thought should go into naming your child. When we decided to name our kids we picked names that we felt drawn to. Now I researched what they meant but didn't put much more thought into it. I think we were prompted to name our kids what we did because they fit them to a tee.
Saidi Addison
Saidi is African for helper.
This name fits her so well. She is always there asking to help and will do anything for you the first time. She is so considerate about it too. Just the other day I asked her to bring me the wipies and she said "Ok. Momma, Right back." She was in the middle of watching her favorite show and didn't let that stop her. She is so sweet.
Addison is English for Adams son
(So you can't get it right everytime!!)
Donovan Benjamin
Donovan is Gaelic for Dark Warrior
Now City Boy has always wanted the name Donovan for his son. He's wanted it ever since he was a little kids. Now the meaning of this name worried me. It could go either way. Now with Saidi being such a love I was worried Donovan would turn out to be rottn.Hence his middle name
Benjamin is Hebrew for Son on the Right Hand.
Ok so I felt better about he name once we added the Benjamin.
And his name fits him also. He is a little bugger. He loves to fight. If you put something in his hand and pull on it he will pull right back and laugh and laugh. He love to play tug of war and his favorite place to sit is right on top of his sister. He is such a sweetie too. He cuddles and kisses and will look at you and grin so big.
I think it's cool that the names we found for the kids fit them so well!!!

Mommy Daughter Day
On Saturday I decided it would be fun if me and Saidi went out just us girls for some fun. Since having Donovan I have not been as patient as I should be with Saidi. I know it doesn't make up for it but I need to start spending time with her so we can develop more of a realationship than me hollering at her to get her apple out from under the rug. We went to the mall an had so much fun. We walked to all the differant stores and went into Gymboree. She loved walking through the store looking at all the clothes and saying "Think about it for my birthday." (City Boy has her saying that anytimes she sees something she wants in a store.) Than we went to the candy store and picked out some sweets for her to have over this next week. She thought it was the coolest thing in the world. There was a little kiosk in the middle of the mall that had nothing but a ton of books. Lots of old books and there was a couple of vintage sets of Nancy Drew books by Caroline Keene. She was my favorite when I was young. I think I may get them for her and save them till she's older.
We came to the part in the mall where they have this little train that the kids can ride on. We've put Saidi on it before and she likes the idea but startes crying when it starts up. I love it because City Boy gets in this train car that is about 3 feet wide, 5 feet long, and four feet high. He squeezes in with her and has to squeeze out 2 seconds later when she gets scared. We watched the train and than she saw the carosel right next to it. OH she just had to ride the horses. We left to get some cash and when we came back the lady running it had gone on a break. Right up stairs from the carosel is a store called Build-A-Bear. You pick out the bear or animal you want and take it to the filling station to be filled with stuffing. They not only have bears but they have a section called Friends 2B made. It is little girl dolls with pretty yarn hair. Well Saidi wanted a Friend 2B made. She picked out a little girl with bright purple hair. You also get to pick out outfits for the doll to wear with all sorts of accessories. She took the doll to get stuffed. Before they stich her up they give you a little heart to kiss and put it inside. She than got to go give the doll a "bath". You blow all the extra stuffing and strings off her and dress them. We went to the computer to make a birth certificate and wehn I askes Saidi what she wants to name the doll she said Moon. So Saidi has a new friend named Moon!! It was such a nice day and it was fun to go out with Saidi and not have to haul the boys around with us.

Sarcasim is a gene.
We all know that kids tend to take after their parents. Donovan has gotten a triat from me. Anytime City Boy asks me a dumb question I give him a look that says I'm not going to dignify that with a response. Today I was on the recieveing end of that look. Donovan is able to pull up one things now. He was standing in the living room holding on to a toy and Iwalked up and put out my hand and said "Come here bubba." I was only six inches away. He looks up at me, cocks his eyebrow and laughs. Just a little "ha ha". I felt like such an idiot for even suggesting it. Just think. A 8 month old can put me in my place. That's talent!!!

The Great Chicken Nugget Incident of '08
It is well known that City tends to be a little goofy. He definately makes life interesting around here. So when he started laughing histerically for no apparent reason one night a few weeks ago; I prepared for the worst. Here's our conversation:
CB:HAHAHAHA I did not tell you what happened at work today did I???
Me: Oh No. What did you do now???
CB:HAHAHAHA it's not what I did. It's what me and one of the guys at work did!
Me: Oh no. Just tell me.
CB: HAHAHAHAHA It's so funny!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
We have the Annual Awards Banquet coming up and one of our guys got the
Airman of the Year Award. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA We have to go to the
dinner and it's really expensive. HAHAHAHAHA
$26 for the roast beef
$24 for the Chicken
$20 for the vegetable lasagne
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
and $4 for the childrens Chicken nugget dinner!!!
Me: YOU DIDN'T!!!!
CB: HAHAHAHAHA yes we did. HAHAHAH We're going to be in our military tuxedos
with a bunch of 4 star Generals and Colonels and we're gunna be HAHAHAHA
eating dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ME: You are a dork. YOU are such a Cheapskate.
CB: No HAHAHAHAH IT's funny!! It's gunna be so cool!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
So I"m sure you get the gist of it. He is a dork. Well I just got a call from City Boy.
The First Shirt ( the guy who makes sure all of the troops are taken care of outside of work i.e. bails them out of jail, makes sure homelife is ok;
Writes them an E-mail saying that the childs menue is not an option for adults and if that changes their ability to go to the banquet he will gladly remove them from the list. He also noted that this wasn't McDonalds, you can't order a happy meal. To which the other guys asked if he got the big boy meal would he be able to still get a toy?
My husband is a total dork. And he wonders why I say that I am no longer capable of being embarrassed by him. I have been desensitized!!

Potty Brain!!!
It Funny How Things Hit You At The Most Random Times. Saidi Went PeePee On The Potty Today!! We were so excited and had a jumping up and down moment. I know I know she's almost 3; she should be potty trained by now but as Chris says "She's on the path now!"
Well I started thinking about how relunctant I have been to start her potty training. Mostly because I'm lazy but I had the thought that my Mom put the time and the effort into potty training me so I should get off my bum and do the same for Saidi.
Man I'm glad Mom took the time cause that is a problem that would be hard to explain!

We're jumping on the bandwagon!!!!
So I've been seeing alot of blogs lately. First it was 15 minute lunch, than Kelly and now Kate. Well not be left out of the fun I'll start one. So visit anytime you want and I'll try to keep everyone updated with important stuff but most likely it will be alot of randomness.
